My PC is likely below specs (i7 2600K 8 Gig RAM, Nvidia 780ti) but the game runs well apart from sometimes in game I start to get jitters when I look about. These jitters will stay unless I restart the game but I have figured out that if I activate the ingame menu (in the middle of a battle - not the main menu) and leave it for a few seconds the jitters stop and I can go back into the game as normal. (Does the game sometimes need time to expel textures from RAM and a few seconds in the menu gives it time?) Optimisation may help this issue.

Does the framerate drop consistently happen in a certain area or when certain boats appear?
We should have some larger scale optimizations available in a couple of months. Feel free to check in on the status of optimizations if you don't hear anything by then.

[FI] David: no it's not consistent. The last time it was after my ship sank. When I respawned it was jittering. The time before that I was shooting at 3 ships close to each other. Going to the menu and back out fixed it even though the same 3 boats were in shot. It also jitters when I remove my Rift and place it back on my head again but this sometimes happens with other apps with the Rift.
