It can be still difficult to get the drops when they are just out of range. Possible fun way of getting difficult to reach drops if it does not clutter vessel or is not cumbersome

Either a harpoon or they can just come to you.

For multiplayer the drops should be synced so you can allow other players to get the health from you, if PVE/Co-op oriented.

Arcticu Kitsu: OR more interesting if you choose other player and play short mini game and than better you played than faster your supply reaches the player. BUT if you close enough just grab and throw supply to the player. Something like that.

I think in similar way. On the Galleon it's almost imposible or very tedious process, when enemy drops located on the left/right side.
